André Fortin, probably one of the best Expert in Design Thinking of Montréal, is going to host a workshop next september during the technology for good week on this topic : ” Leveraging technology for Social Innovation”.
André Fortin is a psychologist and holds a master’s degree in communications-with a specialization on Change. From 2007 to 2013, he was project manager and consultant in creative animation and social innovation at “Institut du Nouveau Monde” (INM), where he coordinated more than fifty projects for citizen participation.
André acts for more than15 years as a social worker, researcher, self-employed in terms of training, facilitation, project management, social art and he has designed diverse tools. As a versatile person, both professionally and artistically, he is focuses on creative processes and collaborative approaches since 1995. He’s developed educational strategies for Cirque du Soleil, the Commission on Human Rights and Youth Rights, community organizations and for SUCO as responsible for public education from 2004 to 2006. Currently, he is a lecturer at UQAM, social innovator in residence for the J. Armand Bombardier Foundation and trainer on how to develop a culture of innovation.
