Melissa Faucher on how to set up a successful communication campaign

On October 1st, Melissa Faucher will host a workshop/conference on Communication strategies for NGOs” at the Bitcoin embassy in Montréal.


Melissa Faucher is a youth entrepreneurship awareness officer at the Côte-des-Neiges CJE, in Montreal. As part of this role, she develops projects giving young people between the ages of 16 to 35 years, the opportunity to test their entrepreneurial qualities and develop their skills in their area of interest. It is with that goal that she launched the community advertising agency “Grosses Têtes” in July 2013; which puts the services of qualified students (in the creation of communication plans and promotional tools), at the disposal of non-profit organizations (NGOs). This agency has a double social impact. It enables the hired young people to develop their leadership skills, and in return the Montreal NGOs are provided with quality communication services adapted to their budgets.

Following her fashion studies, she worked in this field and started a fashion design company. Then, she pursued studies in Marketing and Advertising before joining an ad agency in Vancouver as a coordinator. In her ongoing quest for knowledge, she’s currently undergoing management studies at HEC.
