Nicolas Hazard is a serial French entrepreneur in the field of social business. He is now Chairman of Le Comptoir de l’Innovation (CDI), which supports social enterprises throughout the world, via an impact investing fund and an international network of incubators.

He is also President of Calso Inc. (a non-profit based in California) and Vice-Chairman of GROUPE SOS  (the European leading social enterprise, $ 750 M turnover & 12,000 employees). Nicolas is a member of several international organizations (European Commission Social Business  Experts group of , National Council for international development and solidarity, etc.).

He is the author of the essay “Capitalism for all, 20 enterprises that change the world” (Edit the World, 2013) and “L’entreprise du XXIème siècle sera sociale ou ne sera pas” (Rue de l’Echiquier, 2012).

He writes a monthly column in Le Monde” on the topic of social enterprises and contributes to “The Guardian” and the “Stanford Social Innovation Review”.

Nicolas holds masters degrees in Business, Economics and Politics (Paris I/Sorbonne, FU Berlin, HEC, Sciences-Po).
